It’ about time we take our camping game up a notch with the world’s first floating tent by SmithFly, the Shoal Tent. This inflatable tent made without posts is nestled on a floating raft that also serves as an air mattress. With it, “the world is your waterbed,” SmithFly writes. They encourage camping with the tent on farm ponds, salt water flats, or spring creeks and you’ll be lulled to sleep as the water flows beneath you and the stars twinkle above you. It is made with waterproof and heavy duty fabric that is able to withstand high winds without any problems. The tent sides are made with heavy duty hook and loop fasteners to allow easy access through the sides as the need arises. The kit comes with a manual foot pump, a storage bag and a patch kit. The Shoal Tent is not in stock yet but SmithFly is accepting pre-orders, and the first batch will be expected late this December or January 2018. Make your next adventure extra special with a tent that’ll keep you floating cozy at night. Check out SmithFly’s website, Facebook, or Instagram page for details.
