Sweetest Corgi Saw This Sad Stranger At The Airport, And Instantly Knew He Needed Comforting

A few months before her 8th birthday, this sweet little corgi named Cora was rescued from the mistreatment of her previous family. Madison Palm only planned to foster her, but because of cora’s loving attitude, she finally decided to adopt her. Despite everything that happened to her, Cora was still so sweet and excited to meet everyone she came across. This lead Madison to have Cora trained as a therapy dog. Cora’s sweetness and loving attitude was always on display when she and Madison were outside their house. Cora would often walk up to strangers just to say hello.
One time they were stuck at the airport, but Cora didn’t mind the delay because she found a new friend to walk up to.
Madison watched from afar, but finally decided to ask the traveler, worried that Cora had been bothering him. But to her surprise, Cora was actually comforting the man.
“I asked him if she was bothering him and with a somber face and watery eyes he said, ‘No, no; I lost my dog last night.’ He scratched behind her ears, patted her on the back and was whispering how cute she was. He took out his phone to snap a photo and she sat directly in front of him facing him and staying perfectly still for it.” Madison said during an interview with The Dodo. Cora somehow knew the man needed comforting, and decided to show him some love. Even though she’d been unloved and mistreated for over seven years, Cora still had so much love to give. So, whenever we feel that the world is getting colder and more indifferent, we can look to dogs like Cora to remind us that there is still hope.
