Japanese Artist Creates Hyper Realistic felted Cat Portraits, And The Results Are Purrfect

Artists have always shown us that there is no limit to creativity when can count on some great skills, and the internet is arguably the best way to showcase your creations.
Japanese artist Wacuneco’s needle felting work is becoming more and more popular on Instagram, and the reasons of his sudden rise among the trending crafters of the image-based social network are the impressive hyper realistic 3D cat portraits he creates using wool’s fuzzy fibers. It takes Wacuneco almost a month to complete one portrait, and at the end of the process he mounts the creation into a mini wooden frame. He uses photos of real cats as a reference to create his portraits, and he sells his works on Yahoo Auctions, currently shipping only to Japan.
