National Geographic photographers are arguably the best nature photographers in the business, and they are an endless source of inspirations for image creators from all over the world. Photographers of all ages look up to their imagery to improve their style and technique, and even artists working in other niches are inspired by their works.
An example is without any doubt talented Shanghai-based illustrator JN Crazy, who worked on a series of illustrations where he recreated some of the most impressive National Geographic images in digital drawings. JN didn’t just use the photographs as the base for his work, he also added some adorable touches along the way, like the butterfly on the crocodile’s nose in the image number three of this article, or the baby tiger turned into a cat in the image number three. JN also uses to post some photos of the process of creating his work, and that definitely makes his creations even more interesting.
